  11. Jaani, if you want something interesting, then download the newest NIN album "The Slip" at http://theslip.nin.com/. Trent-setä on kiltti ja antaa lahjoja kuuntelijoilleensa ^^

  17. Crap ... I just realized that everything named down here is voodoo something or other. WTF!!

Maybe I should get it tattooed on my ass ... not WTF ... voodoo ... jeeze.

What a way to beat a dead horse!

  19. Tonite we should continue at Dynasty studios again. I miss that place already. I have spent there more time last months than in home...

  20. I just realized that Jaani’s darbuka performance somewhat fits quite similarly to a faint yet rapid drum beat heard between the 1st and 2nd chorus in Chains Around My Heart.
I wonder if it’s the same instrument...

I very much enjoy the fusion of world beats!
…displays open mindedness and the acceptance of multiculturalism… ;)

  21. it was not darbuka in the video. i played bongos. in chains around my heart i played djembe.

    VastaaPoista
  22. Ah...of course! Yet all three are of African origin, however the bongos have been widely adapted by the South Americans.
All the same…the African influence has been very well incorporated in c.a.m.h. !!

Djembe eh? ...well done Jaani, you’re quite the talent!
And if I might add an accomplished bongocero!! ^^
